Em setembro de 2018, no âmbito desta ação e também da ação F5 (Trabalho em rede com outros projetos LIFE e de conservação do olival), e em colaboração com o projeto AGRABIES (projeto do Plano Nacional de I+D+i, convocatória Desafios 2015), foi organizado um seminário intitulado «Avaliação, conservação e recuperação da biodiversidade e dos serviços ecossistémicos prestados pela fauna em agrossistemas arbóreos ibéricos. Experiências do olival andaluz e das pomaradas asturianas». O seminário contou com a presença de representantes das diferentes entidades responsáveis tanto pelo projeto AGRABIES como pela Olivares Vivos, bem como de especialistas de outras iniciativas, e terminou com uma mesa redonda com a participação de especialistas dos diferentes sectores envolvidos: Administração, entidades de investigação e desenvolvimento agrícola e ambiental, produtores e entidades participantes nos projectos que convocaram o seminário.
Ainda no âmbito da ação F5, no final de agosto e início de setembro de 2017, uma equipa do projeto deslocou-se a Creta para participar na Conferência Internacional Climate Changing Agriculture e para visitar e conhecer vários projetos de conservação relacionados com o olival. No decorrer desta conferência foram apresentadas duas comunicações orais (já referidas na lista anterior) e moderada uma das sessões científicas da conferência, focada na certificação ambiental.
